Well, having signed up a three weeks ago I've finally gotten around to putting something up here. I'm slightly cameraless at the moment which is frustrating. It is a start though.

Thank you for the welcomes, I've been doing more lurking than crafting of late but times must move on! This week I shall finally start on the handfasting rings. Its the first time I've had a go at lapidary so its a bit scary, but I've ordered plenty of backup stones just in case! The plan is to set an 8 x 6 cabochun into a 4 ply plaited band using the stone to join the two ends.

Any tips are welcome. I shall post the results - and also the dress I've been making specially. I'm very proud of the dress.
